Break times! 

It is important that you take regular breaks when you are learning at home, just like we do in school. You must try to do something active every day!  Here are some ideas:

Every day you will find links and activities on this page, these will help you to complete the lessons I have set for you.

 

Remember that our online learning discussions and story will take place every day on Microsoft Teams

Monday 18th January 2021

 

Maths - We are continuing to use the written method for multiplication and we will begin to look at division.

I would like you to practise your times tables at least three times a week.

Remember to go onto My Maths on the link below. I have set some short division and times table practice tasks for this week.

 

English -  This week you are going to write your own adventure story. You can use Cressida Cowell’s How to Train your Dragon and your stories from last week to generate ideas.

Today you are going to create the characters and setting for your new story. You could even take the characters from last week on a new adventure.

Word mats and text examples to support your writing, along with lined paper are in your pack.
