Hello and welcome to our Reception Class page.  

The grown-ups in our class are Mrs Norcup, Mrs Baskeyfield and Mrs Wood.   We learn new things everyday and have lots of fun, Reception really is a fun place to be.  Please check out our other Reception pages - especially our phonics page which will give you lots more information about what we are learning each day. Class Information

Reading Bags.  

Please bring book backs to school every day.  Over the coming weeks your child will come home with letters in a case to practise. If they can blend letters together to make words then they will be able to take books home too.  Please let us know if you need any support with this. 

P.E takes place on a Thursday. On this day children need to come into school wearing the correct PE kit.

Children should wear black/blue plain shorts or joggers, with a plain or team coloured top and a pair of trainers.  All jewellery must be removed before coming to school, children are not permitted to participate whilst wearing earrings. Please email us if you do not know your child’s team colour so that they can wear the correct coloured top.

Water bottles.  We encourage all children to drink water throughout the day. Please supply a labelled water bottle which can be kept in the classroom for easy access and returned home at the end of each day.  Children are able to refill their bottles in school with fresh, cool water.
